Re: Thinking about adding nitrous, help (james holley)
How much does it cost to install N2O kit? All depends what you want. It can cost $550 for the kit and up to over $1000 for the kit. A few yrs ago I paid I think $1300 for install and dyno testing. That included install new intank and inline fuel pump, installed MSD digital 6+ box, window switch and N2O guage/fuel pressure guage. The kit I bought I paid $886.

It can cost a ton if not done right. Check around town before you let someone install. I am imbarassed but just spent $2700. Two complete installs the guys that did the first install went out of business and had evereything screwed up. Lucky I didn't blow up, but then it never worked so it would have been difficult to do that. I am an idiot.. ...me
Re: Thinking about adding nitrous, help (james holley)
what do i need and how much will it cost for the whole thing installed? thanks
I'm installing a TNT dual bottle system with pro-purge and nitrous mastermind and I'm in over a grand without the install easy (which I'm doing myself). The last quote I got was from The Vette Wrench in IL for $800.00 for MSD (just did myself), high flow fuel pump, and N20 system. I think that this is a reasonable price, but I prefer to save myself a couple of bucks and do the work myself (plus, you can't beat the learning experience).

$500 to a grand depending on what options you decide on (bottle heater, rbv, etc) My last kit ran $550 with the NOS filter (definitely a must) and pressure gauge. The install really is a breeze....do it yourself. It's a 2 hour job. The instructions make the wiring simple, and the bottle mount and lines are pretty self explanatory. I wouldn't pay or trust anyone else to do it....and I'm sure there are plenty of guys here who could walk you through it (myself included).
