I just replace the 160 stat & did a TB bypass. I partially drained the coolant using only the radiator drain valve. The coolant visually looked clean & new, so I saw no need to consider a total drain, flush & refill. I just replaced the drained fluid with new 50/50 mix.
I now read in the new Corvette Fever in the article about changing a hose, that when they used a flush after observing clean coolant that they removed crude from the radiator. Should I have flushed?? Could this be the culprit in my loss of cooling system efficiency?
