I ripped out the stock ECM and wiring (again) and would like to find the positive wire somewhere in the cabin so I don't have to run 12v all the way at the back of the car. The fuel pump relay no longer exists in my application.
Does it run along the drivers side of the car lower panel? Or does it run through the center console?
what are you doing, running a separate 12v to the pump ?
I had the same issue with my 85, couldnt find where it went, it looks like it does go thru the interior of the car before it goes out the back, maybe the same loom that feeds the aerial ?
I ran a wire from the alternator along the chassis to the tank.
I found the pin that feeds the pump by the ECM connectors, I forget the exact pin right now but I'll post it up when I get home. It's part of a FAST install. My last venture with GMs computer didn't go well and got a screaming deal on the kit so here I am lol
The power for the fuel pump comes from a fusible link to the "jumper block" behind the battery. It goes to the fuel pump relay and the oil pressure switch. From there it goes to the FP fuse on the fuse block. I assume it runs along the passenger side frame rail inside the car. This diagram might give you some hints:
