Default cheap performance tricks?

Is there a sticky or link to a list of cheap performance mods that can be done to a C4? Speed, economy, handling etc?

THIS LINK, but the gains won't be a lot. Exhaust on an L98 and Cam on any C4 are the biggest BFTB if you do the work yourself.

If you change header back, do you have to retune ?

"Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?"

Headers and true duals will be a big help, but figure on $500 to $700 for that alone. And that includes removing the old exhaust and installing the headers yourself. Then figure another few hundred for an exhaust shop to build the rest of the system. But be watchful of your state's emissions laws if the car has to be tested.

None of the cheap things will simply not help.

MAF Screen removal, TB bypass, airfoil, cut airbox lid, K&N filter, NOS sticker.
Search for these and you'll find there is nothing to gain.

if you don't go with LT headers. Get a set of LT1 exhaust manifolds ($85 + shipping on ebay). Not as good as LTs, but much better than shorties(no one here recommended shorties). Next to one another the LT1 manifolds are superior to the L98 manifolds....and they fit, no problem

A 383 and a cat-back might be the most cost effective depending on your point of view.

Long tube headers are the best bang for buck, adjustable fuel pressure regulator boost the pressure to 48-50 psi.
That will knock a second off your quarter mile time, nice and easy
