groan from rear

groan from rear

Have a groan from rear at initial take off. Swapped rear oil with GM Oil and two bottles of posi additive. It's still there. Any suggestions.

There was a thread on this a while back where many of us have this same, intermittent problem that people aren't positive of... just speculation. Mine hasn't done it in a long time, but it was like a grinding/groaning like something else was attached to the flywheel and was adding excess drag onto it.

check wheel hubs and ujoints. i had a groan/grind. i ignored it. 4 months later i had to replace both ujoints on the passenger half shaft and the wheel hub. dont ignore it.
