Default Doing brakes, having trouble with the jack location

Ok I need new brakes, I got the brake pads, all ceramic, 175$. Now want to get the rotors off to see if i can machine them so I dont need to buy new rotors too. But I got all the lug nuts loose, now I need to jack the car up. I know there are special jack loactions. Now when I go to jack the car up, the underneath fiberglass body trim bends a little, and im worried that it might break. My front driver side is a little warped from being jacked up, how do go about doing this with out damaging the trim? Also I heard back brakes are easy, but the fronts are not? Whats the deal with the fronts? All im doing is replacing the pads and rotors. Thanks.

if you look under the rockerpanels, there are 2 areas with down pointed arrows... you jack on the seam, between the arrows.

When I put the jack on that seam, the rocker panel touches the jack and stands, causing it to bend. Before, I've bent the driver side rocker panel a little bit. I remember a post when L98terror broke one of his panels because of the jack stand.

As far as what's easier, definitely the front. Just make sure your push the piston back into the caliper before you remove it. Front caliper removal-remove c-clip from pin, push out the pin, and swing the caliper up and out. No need to mess with the top bolt. Pop out the old pads, snap in your new pads, and reverse procedure for installation. Make sure you get a new hardware kit. It comes with a 2 new pins, 2 clips for the pins, and 4 bias clip/springs. Bias clips are very important, make sure you have them or your calipers will rattle. Some shops won't have them included in the kit. If your removing the rotors, you'll also have to remove the caliper brackets. Those can be stubborn, be careful not to snap the bolt heads. Use liquid wrench. Back brakes have a bolt instead of a pin. The only reason I say this is harder is because it takes longer to remove a bolt then a pin. In other words, brakes are simple on these cars....at least mine are. Hope this rambling helps some. Good luck! :flag

Read your owners manual!!
Jacking instructions and locations are carefully described!
Front pads are easier for me, than the rears.
Good luck,

Thanks for the help guys, I got the car in the air, but I need to get some tools from work. Hopefully I get everything in alright, I should have it done tommorrow if I feel up to it after work.
