As stated above there are multiple tire widths provided for the C4 corvette.

Most base Corvette and convertible models came a staggered setup with the front being xx by 8.5 inches and the rear being xx by 9.5 inches, where xx is the height of the rim in inches which changed though the years from 16 inches to 17 inches.

The ZR-1 came with 17x9.5 in the front and 17x11 in the rear.

The GS coupe came with 17x9.5 front and 17x11 rear. However the offset of the GS 17x11 wheel is not the same as the ZR-1 wheel.

The Z-51 and Z-52 models came with non-staggered 16x9.5 or 17x9.5 front and rear.

Care has to be taken to ensure the correct offset or backspacing is applied to the year of the car if you are changing the wheels.

Out of curiousity why are the z51 and z52 non-staggered but the other model lines are????

I think I'm gonna go w/ c6 wheels... they are 58mm offset w/ 7.53 backspacing; 275/35/18 all around. My buddy is gonna sell them to me for a good price. They are within 2.2% of the OEM sized tires in total. I just need to figure out what size spacers I'll need.
