Hi, re: '92--drove car normally yesterday. In the middle of driving around the service abs and asr lights come on for no apparent reason. Drove home, turned car off. Couple hours later start car and no warning lights. Drive around some more and lights come on for no reason. Oh well. Take car out today to go to state inspection, lights not on. On way to inspection I hit a pretty good bump and the lights come on. What?? Car fails inspection for this. Drive home, mechanic says maybe related to wheel bearings?? Take car out later, lights not on, hit a bunch of bumps, lights don't come on. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks, Larry

After the lights come on can you pull over turn the engine off and restart and see if the lights stay off and let us know. If it works like that I think I know what it is . It sounds like it's the wheel speed sensor. My 95 my lights go on intermittently but sometimes I can cruise the entire day and it will be off and other times after 20 minutes of driving it will light up until I turn engine off and back on. Eventually I will bring it in to my Vette mechanic for repair as he told me what it was.
