anyone experience creating a cam sensor for sequential injection?
Another option would be to install the longer LT1 cam dowel pin, modify a aluminum timing cover for a Northstar cam sensor.
Buick also used a flying magnet that snapped in the cam sprocket and sensor in the cover.
If you are running DIS, the pickup coil and distributor shaft could be modified by removing all but 1 tooth. When the teeth pass it would be sync signal. It would allow for adjustment of injector timing. Earlier sfi buick turbo cam sensor timing was adjustable without effecting spark timing since ignition timing operated by crank sensor, it could make a huge difference in performance.
There are also aftermarket dual signal distributors
it's really a matter how crafty you want to be.
