Started this project in the spring but ended up messing with my c3 for awhile. Finally put the car back together and fired it up. My exhaust fell off behind the main cat at the Y last year. So I wanted to delete the pre-cats and main cat this year. I need to read the camera directions and figure out how to stop the quieting of the sound spikes, it did the same thing with my c3.



The c4 idles quitter than my c3, but full throttle it's louder and doesn't seem to drone but I've only been around the block so far. My c3 also has a single 3" with a larger Dynomax Ultra flow.

I know many won't like the single exhaust look but I'm more concerned with budget and performance and the single 3" will support my HP goals. The TPI makes more than enough torque for my small tire goal, so longtube headers are not needed.

Your fab work is great, that exhaust should flow more then enough for you. The biggest restriction is the Y pipe merge.

That being said, with your fab work you should have done duels. The first thing I did to my 84 was yank that single exhaust off in favor of duels using a C5Z mid pipe. There is so much room for a proper exhaust on corvettes, Iv had 4 Fbodies and they are a pain to get a good exhaust on.

Sounds good and will work for your goals either way, I would hide the tip and muffler better personally.
