Now a question for the digital dash experts. My dash goes black every so often. Then it comes back on. When it comes back it displays the startup test ( all LCD's lit) then the normal display. After the black out it comes back with the Avg GPM and Trip reset to zero (memory wiped). When it's black the turn signal indicators and high beam indicator are NOT lit up.
Sounds like a power problem, not a ground problem, right?
Power supply on circuit board? Bad (loose) connector? Where should I go from here?

You are losing 12v power to the cluster, either the positive 12v line or ground, or both (not likely). Unplugging and replugging all the connectors is a good start to clean the connector contacts. Examine the traces on the circuit boards that carry 12v and ground for hairline cracks with some low power magnification. After this it gets much more complicated and you might consider sending the boards to a repair station.

Thanks. I'm going to checkout the two grounds, 32 pin connector and PC boards this weekend. Hope it's connectors.

Just a followup. Checked grounds and connectors this weekend, Nothing obvious using DMM and wiggling wires around. Cleaned and reseated all connectors. After 3 days of normal use - no problems so far.
