Ok, this is what he did , he had a duel threaded tap, one the size of the original spark plug hole which when inserted into the sloppy threads would set it up for alignment for a straight shot into the hole, once through he kept turning with the same tap and proceeded to tap the newer over size threaded hole for the insert,, will let u know which brand tomorrow. then with a hole camera he was able to go down inside the piston area and check for cut thread remains, either suck them out or blew them out, I do not know but he was able to tell it was clean with the camera,,, great to have the proper tools.
