Cam surge
My car has a manual transmission, so I guess if I had an automatic I wouldn't feel the cam surge because the torque converter would absorb it?
It happens when I lightly to moderately accelerate between 1600-2500 RPMs I get 1 or 2 bucks while it accelerates.
My timing table in my tune is advanced 2* over stock for the whole table except for full throttle areas which are 5* over stock.
Does this sound normal to you guys? And if I simply used the stock timing table, would it be enough to get rid of the cam surge or would I have to retard the timing more?
