Default Suspension Type question ...

Did the 84 have multiple suspension options? If so, how can I tell what option I have? I bought an 84 with 30,000 miles and no manuals. Thanks for any info.

Z51 and base are the two options

Check the RPO codes. Considering how stiff the '84's where, I'd say if it rides really rough you have the base. If it kills you going over the slightest pebble, but handles like an Indy car, you probably have the Z51. :D
