405 HP Mini-Ram Kit Question
FYI... TPIS has a 405 hp mini-ram kit aval. includes
Mini-Ram w/Fule Pressure Reg.,
TPIS/AFR Heads,
zz-9 Cam,
Timing Set,
Lifters,
Pushrods,
Rockers Arms,
Head Bolts,
Intake Bolts,
Intake,
Head,
Timing Cover gaskets...
can get extra 20 hp with the zz-409.
All for $4200.00(it's cool cuz it's one stop shop to 405 hp).
Has anyone used this Kit(pos or negative feedback would be great)
If so what is the lift difference between the zz-9 and zz-409?

Re: 405 HP Mini-Ram Kit Question (BluePastU)
ZZ9 is 212/226 @ .050
ZZ409 is 225/240 @ .050
Thats the difference between them basically, ZZ409 is a little more aggressive.
But i would go with the ZZ9X
239/239 @ .050"

Have the camshaft measured before you install it. TPiS is known for their grinds being off.

Re: 405 HP Mini-Ram Kit Question (BluePastU)
BluePastU,
There was no mention of 'their' chip?
I would think, that too would be a requirement?
So, you may have to add another $595 for that piece of 'hardware.'
You're going to need something to 'harness' all that horsepower.

Or have it Dyno tuned...Also, Ed Wright could Probably mail you a chip, that was as good as "theirs", for a lot less $$$$
