wire identification help!
I would think that since you're rewiring the cooling fan and replacing relays (you only mentioned 1) and the FL's aren't there, I'd maybe consider doing it with maxi-fuses. Fusible links in the diagram are .5 so that would indicate you either buy that metric spec or you use 20 ga. Fusible links are also spec'd to be of specific lengths (another complication to consider).
Is the FL there for the ECM? If not maybe consider doing it also with maxi-fuses. You could power a small maxi-fuse block from the junction-block behind the battery, mount it in the vicinity, maybe replace the + cable and just clean it all up in one operation.
Using a maxi-fuse block would be just updating yours to a later spec that was used '92 on that had under-hood control centers as well as the IP fuse box.
Fusible links are older technology of the times. I'd certainly consider maxi-fuses it if it were mine. Maxi-fuses are "slo-blo" and more efficient certainly than a fusible link connection that you need to create.
The expense? Minimal. Ease of install? I'd say considerably.
It's pretty difficult to sort everything that's going on there but you do maybe some weather-pack "wire to wire" connections for the wires that are cut, maybe a 2 wire for the fan relay power.

. Any idea what size fusible link I should purchase to recreate the wiring section I am missing. If I have it all correct the fusible links are just proctecting the fans.
