Sorry, call me a punk or whatever but I wanna do some serious tire smokin.

What kit works good on the 96 LT1?

I don't think anyone here wants to call you names, but what purpose do you intend to do by doing "some serious tire smokin"? It doesn't prove anything at all except you are willing to beat on your car and waste the tires. Many cars can do burnouts. That doesn't mean they are powerful or fast though. Save your money, tires and car.

Sorry, but I have to agree. Back in the early '80's when most cars couldn't do a burn out, a burn out proved...something. Now days? Any car ban burn it's tires to the rims.

In addition to that, ya don't need a line lock to do a burn out. I do it all the time to clean tires at the drag track. '92 6 speed, no line lock here.
