Does anybody have any ideas how to make my instrument lens look better without buying a new one? i know they are only 40 dollars but that 40 wouldnt make my car go any faster... :confused: :lol:

I was able to remove the instrument lens by unscrewing the steering wheel tilt lever, remove screws holding bezel around steering column then remove plastic around steering column, remove bolts holding bottom of knee panel and pop off knee panel. Remove screws and bolts holding on the instrument lens panel. It will take some finesse to remove the lens.
Once you get the lens out, you can use electric paint buffing and compound to remove scratches. A drill and wool pad works OK. You will have lots of swirl marks. To remove swirl marks, use 3M glazing compound. You will have to carefully clean the compound but when you are done, it should look perfect.
