Default Would I have problems?

I had my 383 built last year, and as time goes by I get more and more used to it. I'm thinking of getting a procharger. Nothing too crazy. I'm after an extra 100-150hp. Would my motor take it? or would I have to replace certain parts.

Thanks

Default Re: Would I have problems? (KouKou)

I have a bone stock l98 which I have had a Ati Procharger on for a year or so. I have about 30 strip runs on it too. It seems to be holding up so far. I get a little blow by at high boost. I think you could get away with this setup. If you have a forged rotating assembly in your 383 you will be much better off though. If your 383 is cast you should think about long term effects.
Good luck
