same here. Put mine in the 92 this spring. It only has about 2000 miles on it but its been flawless so far. Mine was still running fine and only had 50k on it. I took the old one apart and there was some corrosion in it. I cleaned it up and bought another vented cap and rotor from petri and have it as a spare.
I put in a Petris and it's running fine but I don't have many miles on it. I like the venting and believe it will add to longer life of the unit. I would stay away from the low priced units, I put a Chandlers unit in which was about $110 and it lasted less than 5K miles. Hope this helps in your choice.

Hopefully that pArt will prove itself as a reliable vented alternative to dwindling new old stock optisparks
