93 C4 started,stalled,repeat, then ran
Hey everyone, I had a strange problem with my c4 today (with 74k miles) and wanted to ask some input on it.
I started right up this morning no problem and drove to lunch. When I started her up again after lunch, the car ran a little rough for a few seconds and then ran fine all the way home. When I went to start the car again to leave for work, It would crank over just fine, run for 5 seconds, then die. It repeated for 2 more times, then ran fine and got me to work no problem.
Anyone know what could potentially be the problem? I don't seem to have any idling problems or loss of power when driving, nor any engine light codes. Could it just be fouled/clogged injectors?

Sounds like an opti or ICM failure, to me.
To rule out opti
-Connect noid light to fuel injector connector on cylinder one
No flashing, bad opti
To rule out ICM
-Take it to get tested and have them test it multiple times.

I have not, I bought the car almost two weeks ago. It was well maintained from the car fax but doesn't mention fuel filter.
It started right up on the way back from work, I put some fuel injector cleaner in, but I should probably look at changing the fuel filter as well.

best to have the gas low not to get a bath. easyest way is to take it off the back of the filter and the return line by it the. use the tool to release the lines from the top. pull it out with the lines then take the filter off then reverse.
