front marker lights
i have a 1988. The guy before me tried doing away with the flip up headlights and change every light to leds and he made a mess of it. I have taken out everything he has done and have replaced them with original. I have brake lights, parking lights, headlights, fog lights and turn signals. The problem is the front marker lights have no power to them i have checked the fuses. What else can i check or should i just trace the wiring all the way back thru the harness Any ideas would be appreciated.

Do the ambers light at all with any operation of the park, headlamp, turn or hazard operation? You mention "no power" but there's several sets of circumstances that would actually power the side markers.
How about the rear? What do you have there? That could aid the diagnostics I'd think for the front. Do you have the FSM or are you just trying to "wing it"?
For grins, with the head lamps on and the turn signal activated do the "clear" corners function as expected?
