Default Alignment specs for a Drag Car

........ Are there any "magic" specs as deviation from factory settings for a car that spends far too much time at the drag strip ? ... Getting ready for an alignment and thought I'd check with the Pro's here first ........

Im really interested in rear camber.

All the negative camber used in road race specs surely is not good for drag race, but im not sure what the best compromise is.

I would think you would want rear at zero camber at launch....so see what your readings are with the rear end squatting.

Also zero toe would create the least drag from that adjustment.

Put as much caster in the front as you can and I would again go with near zero camber. This will create stability.

Not an expert on "drag" alignments but this makes sense when given thought.

Yeah, road race/auto-x negative camber and such is NOT what you want.

On my 84, I set it up so that there was zero camber with the suspension bottomed out on the snubber (which was extended so that the half shafts were level).

Mine had about 2* positive camber at ride height but with the different camber curves of the early and late suspension designs using the ride height measures that won't work for everyone.
