Cant get MAF counts under 1300
According to my scan tool the output of my MAF is around 13-1500 at idle. I think it displays in grams and was expecting to get it down to about 5 per other threads but even with the throttle plate stop screw not touching the throttle plate it still stays right about there. I suspect someone else has futzed around on this as the cover was already gone
Car idles ok but does hunt a little.
Code 36 but i have checked it all the way to the computer (replaced). The ECM never tries to pull the MaF burnoff relay on when the car shuts off. New MAF as well. All relays and wires check out ok. I was thnking that some sensoe value was whacked and the computer was compensating by not turning on the relay and setting the code. All other data looks ok, car goes into closed loop, runs strong. Just this one code and i did verify that when shutting the key off, the ECM does not try to trip the burnoff relay. Anybody seen this before?
Keep in mind that the 16-bit MAF signal is limited to 30 gm/sec at 800 rpm by the max maf vs rpm table, so this is not normally possible. The 8-bit unlimited airflow signal is another story.
I suspect something is wrong with your tool and you're reading/displaying incorrect data.

Aside from the count value, i still have the issue of the code 36 but i know the circuit is ok. It is also possible that a wiring issue caused damage to the MAF burn off relay circuit inside the ECM. i wish i had a way to test it. My buddies 86 doesnt have the same wiring
