Hey buddy looks like your making pretty good progress. I took off my oil pan on my LQ9 this week and tried to install my holley oil pan. I found that I have to trim off the front section of the windage tray. I'm a little seemed about having to do that, so I'm no sure on what exactly I'm going to do right now. I plan to rev my engine at least to 6500 rpm so I need to modify the windage tray to keep the oil off the crank.

I'm curious are you running a windage tray.

Hey mike i am running the full length windage tray/stiffening plate
the f-body style uses a shorter version that is missing the front couple inches because the pan is so shallow at the front there is no room so if you have a pan thats very shallow at the front you will have modify your windage tray or buy a f body style i also built a oil containment tray to help keep oil around the pump pickup i based my design off of improved racings fbody one

cheers

Thanks buddy, found out the oil pan I have will limit my stroke to 3.62

So when I buy a stroker kit or do a LSx build I have to buy another oil pan. My engine looked really good, almost no wear and just a little carbon build-up on the pistons. I'm gonna run it as is. My vette 350 is on its last legs, its starting to smoke like a diesel

Alex buddy you have any more pics for us to drool on?

Hey buddy, did you install piston cooling jets when you redid the motor? I saw two different types, here is one from Kaltech.

Sweet news buddy. Would be cool to see the car with no hood on it. I've put nearly 5000km's on my vette this summer.

Been having second thoughts about running the fast fuel system. Not sure which way to go for the electronics.
