I have a 92 corvette manual
I'm installing a viper 5704v on it. I have the door locks hooked up and functional. Now to the remote starter part... When the remote starter is hooked up and I press the button to start the car the ignition and acc all come on but it does not crank! I press back the button on the key fob and it shuts the system down. ... Now I try to start it with the key and it doesn't do anything. All the ignition and acc come on but it just doesn't crank. After 5 mins or so I am able to crank it only with they key!
I also have a custom prom chip tuned with vats turned off
Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I interpreted "manual" to be an M6
An M6 requires the clutch pedal to be depressed to allow starter engagement. That can be defeated to allow crank BUT CERTAINLY NOT TO BE DONE FOR REMOTE START - IF YOUR A$$ ISN'T IN THE SEAT YOU DO NOT WANT THE CAR TO BE CAPABLE OF CRANKING
I'd go so far as to say that if you didn't realize this maybe, just maybe you shouldn't even ask any further questions regarding it.
There's one more obvious component that contributes to your 5 minute error but I'll not explain.

Thank you for the respond
I forgot to say that I have jumped the two wires at the clutch switch
So the car starts without having to press the clutch.
What other way would cause it not to start every 5 mins after using the viper?

did you bypass the vats system? you can use a ohm meter on the key to get the right resistor off ebay or el shop.
sorry about the cranky member must have missed his nap.

You did - you say do the FE in the tune/PROM but I'm guessing that you haven't done the VATS "key resistance" bypass.
You realize how damn dangerous that is? REMOTE on an MT WOW
