Default Best way to clean rubberized console?

What is the best way to clean the rubberized console? It seems the older they get, they tend to scratch very easily....even if I just use a dry cloth to wipe them down.

Thanks for the tips guys. Glass bead blast....interesting. I am sure Armour all will help mask a lot of the small scratches, it just amazes me how easily it scratches. I am sure it was a lot tougher 20 years ago...

Ok, so that coating is Dulso, lots of stuff about it. Appears to have been a poor choice for any surfaces that need some level of wear resistance. Prob OK for dash but deff not the center console. I think that stuff softens with age and the many diff types of chemicals used by various owners over the years. The glass bead blast unit looked great but unfortunately the poster did not provide any details regarding what type of equipment was used.....that always cracks me up. If you are going to respond to post, include relevant information!

Here is the link to more complete description of what he did.....more than just a simple bead blasting but it came out looking great. Probably the only way to really make this Dulso finish look new again is to get rid of it altogether.
