Default 1987 C4, Momentary SES light, 7 trouble codes??

Yesterday, I took the Vette to work and it drove totally fine in the morning. Went to lunch, started the car, then out of the corner of my eye, I see the Service Engine Soon light illuminated. Seeing as how I just had the oil changed and the transmission fluid changed the day before, I begin to worry. The car still seemed to drive totally fine, so I forego the trip to Burger King and instead go to O'Reillys where they have an OBD1 scanner. The dude hooks it up and says "yeah its not connecting, dunno man." So I get back in the car, start it up, and the SES light is gone. Huh. Weird. Car drives home totally fine.

So fast forward to today, I take the car out for a drive and no SES light, no problems. So I stop into a different O'Reillys and get someone who at least appears to know what he's doing. He pulls 7 codes in this order:

51: PROM- Memory fault
44: Lean Exhaust
41: Cylinder Select Error
63: ?
61: ?
54: Fuel Pump Circuit voltage low
52: Oil Temp sensor low

Could a vehicle possibly have 7 error codes and drive totally fine without SES? Could there be a single global issue causing this many codes? Or are all these codes erroneous? I am concerned, and REALLY don't want to take it to the dealership.

Use the paperclip method to pull codes not Orielys.
They seemed to be really accurate to me helped me fix everything.
Good luck a search should find out how.

Any time you have that many codes it's usually because you're not retrieving the codes correctly. A bad parameter template will do that. If you don't use a template that matches your car you will get bogus error codes. For example, your oil temperature sensor does not connect to the ECM, so that error is not applicable.

Pull the codes yourself:

What they mean (use this chart, as others are not year specific and result in bad diagnosis):

So I pulled the code myself by shorting the A and B contacts, and turns out I only have 1 code, 32 for the EGR system. Ill have to look into that further. What a relief!

Hey there clean the connector check vacume lines/wires for breakage good and undo the negative battery cable to clear codes then try it again.

See if it comes back.
Note when undoing the battery cables multiple times be carefull to not strip or overtighten your connectors. However I hear there is a wire you can unplug and plug back to do the same thing but I have never been able to do it that way with success.
Good luck on the right track

There is a temperature switch on the pipe that feeds the EGR valve from the exhaust manifold (by the heater box). When the ECM commands the EGR on it looks for this switch to close indicating exhaust gas is flowing.
Code 32 is caused by this switch either not closing when it should or being closed when no EGR is requested. Hope this helps and happy hunting.

You disconnect the ECM power connector to reset the codes. It's attached to the positive battery terminal:
