1984 ECM Purchase
After chasing a gremlin in my 84 forever I'm looking to get a new ECM.Should I get mine rebuilt or exchange mine for a reman one?Could it be the PROM?Wheres the best place to get one? Thanks

Are you sure its in the ECM and not the sensors? If yes, the ECMs are available at the chain auto-parts places. I am in Denver also and I have a good spare from my Cross-Fire days. Is your Corvette drive-able? What is the "Gremlin" you are chasing? If you want to discuss the car, PM me, I'll be able to get back to you this afternoon.

If you do decide to exchange your ECM don't forget to keep the PROM from your original. New ones (or remanufactured) will come without the PROM and you will need to install yours.
