'90 and earlier are very similar and you should expect something like this. The disassembly should be very straight forward I'd think. I've done a few and one part leads to the next to the next etc. There's no short-cut for the lower baffle replacement.
From an '88 SPO publication I have this image and the correct original part #'s that you could use for reference. You will need to email me for those pages.

Thanks. I'm not having questions about what goes where etc. I can pull the whole front end off if I have to, but I would like to know by somebody who has done this specific job how to get at those 6 sheet metal screws. They are not reachable by elbow contortions.... in fact, only the heads of 2 of them are visible with a flashlight. It's obvious something has to be removed to get to them... I was wondering specifically which parts to remove to get to them. I've already removed the spoiler but when I tried to bend the wheel well slightly to get my hand in the target area, the wheel well started to crack. So I'm assuming by your answer, I do have to remove both front wheel wells to replace that lower radiator shroud?
Which screws are you trying to access? As I recall(which isnt saying much) it was pretty straight forward removing the baffle. For install I dont remember anything difficult either. The only pain was the three air dam bolts on each side.

Yes... the 3 on each side. I can't get at them without taking the front end apart.

I don't recall having any issue there. Sorry. I'm going to have her up on jack stands this weekend and will take a look and see. The three bolts I meant are for the air dam not the baffle.
