1989 headlight's won't flip up
Hi guys, got a 1989 with a motor swap, 383. So there is a lot of wiring that has been taken out, cut off, or left unplugged from old emissions and dash wiring. However, when I bought the car the headlights would rotate up when turned on, but yesterday they seized to rotate. Now, I've been manually rotating them, but whenever I disconnect the battery (for work I've been doing on it) and then reconnect the battery they manage to electronically go to closed by default. There is a relay on the inside wheel well, that I was told by the pervious owner was the headlight relay. He bought a new relay and installed it before I bought it. Now, I took it off and realized the wiring harness side, the pins, one particular area had melted. Can this plug in set of pins be bought or do I need a new harness? It's aggravating to be me cause relays are easy to replace but the plug in sides are a bit more frustrating. I personally don't know what to do.
