Can I pull engine with the Superram attached?
Just wondering if there is enough clearence in an early C4 engine bay (not much different really) to pull the engine out with the SR attached. It is pretty close to the wiper motor right now. Thinking about yanking it out tomorrow.

I always pulled the intake first, you might be better at pulling an engine than I am, but it always looked too close to me.

IMO, I'd pull it... just so you don't damage it accident ly. Pulling the motor with heads? Recommend pulling the wiper motor first...

Yes it can and has been done! I know first hand. It is probably easier to pull the wiper motor or remove the super ram, but we done neither and it cleared everything. We made it, but it was tough. Pulled motor and tranny together.

Careful with the wiper motor. Been there, broken one, got the T-Shirt. Not Fun. :nonod:

Should make it without the wiper motor. That extra clearance is worth the few minutes to pull the wiper motor.

Trying to get into the 12 has sucked so bad, that I figure I will just skip it.

Thats if I get it done. :) There have been a couple of 400 blocks on ebay lately. Otherwise I'd go junkyard hunting....
