I just had my car dyno'ed on 8-15 and it made 275hp and 345tq to the wheels, that's 343 crank hp if you calculate 20% drivetrain loss. I just ordered my APR 195cc heads milled to 58cc (to keep the compression the same as before), a set of comp 1.6 RR and had my whole edelbrock high flow TPI system ported where it is now flowing 245cfm They should be back this weekend so im hoping to be 400 crank once re assembled.
Lets makes some assumptions here.
1. The dyno is accurate so if you replace the system and you get your 400 after all is said and done, you are within your target
2. You are going to be stupid and dump more money to get more power. I'm even thinking of an LS swap when I might be able to get an instant fix and more potential by buying a newer car with an LS in it. I think we've all been there and many are still in that direction. I know I am but as the addict said "I can quit anytime" and if you believe that, I have this bridge for sale. Slightly used, one owner, well maintained, cash only.
That said, budgeting for today is great. Budgeting for tomorrow's stupidity is even better.
36pph rebuilt or whatever you want but I don't think I would go past 36. That way, when you are done, you can sell them to someone else. Or get them RESIZED. Never had the resized done but ask Jon which ones can be resized for future.
OK talked with some one at the fuel injector connection and they said keep the 24lbs injectors and crank up the pressure to 58psi. Which is what I was hoping because I'm broke.
