How to build a engine with a supercharger?

what must i change to run high boost on my engine.?

This is going in.
Headers
ported heads
zz9 cam
miniram

And in the future I would like to run a supercharger. Is it enough to replace the piston with stronger ones?

I would put in forged everything, just to be safe. Because when you put in a SC U most likely want to turn up the boost... :D

yep...id say go forged stuff, especially the pistons....its like pringles, once you pop, you cant stop :yesnod:

You want to run forged blower pistons, and a lower compression ratio. this ratio will depend on how much boost you wish to run through it.

I would install forged rods as well.

I think the crank will be fine as cast as long as you dont try and spin it over ~6500 rpms.

There are a few LT1's with stock cranks making 600 flywheel HP.
