OK I did search and didn't find anything. My 85 vanity light is not getting any power. The FSM says all the wires from the fuse the fuse is good. Does anyone know where the wire makes the split?
The wire plug for the vanity light in the sun visor is under the plastic piece where the Targa top bolts to at the windshield. Is this the light that is not working?

Yeah I pulled and checked the wiring there and I have the dash top off as well. I checked at the next connection which is just under the dash top.
The FSM says the vanity light is hot always. Or so I thought. It's switched from the key.
So is that your answer? So you don't have a problem? I find it hard to believe your sunvisor vanity lamp is switched from the key. I believe the '85 vanity lamp is powered by the CTSY/CLK fuse, which is always hot.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Or so I thought." Are you looking at pg. 8A-52 in your FSM (lower left corner)?
