i recently found out the gremlins in my car are most likely caused by the ground strap as it wasnt even connected to the block and was tucked into the fuel lines on the frame. I need to know where on the block i need to put this and if it needs anything else attached to it.... or if i could just ground it out and lock it down with a bolt. im new to the lt1 and have no idea. thank you for your help if you can...
I have a 1994. If we're talking about the same ground, mine is bolted to the bell housing to engine bolt, driver's side, second bolt from bottom.
is it just by itself or does it have other grounds with it? thank you i had an idea that it goes there....i looked underneath for a second and didnt see anything else.....

I should have mentioned that. The one from the frame, plus three others that come out of the wiring harness, I don't know what they go to. I found out the hard way, when I was changing my torque converter, I loosened that nut, and I didn't see the grounds. All four broke and I had to repair.
i had a feeling about that but i didnt want to guess.... i did add a few other grounds on the frame but this is why the ecm doesnt work properly when that one is off.... thank you in going to take it apart today and try and get to it...did you do it from the bottom or through the side?
