Default upgrade 95 LT1 to OBD11

Purchased a complete 95 LT1 to install in a 62 and want to upgrade the engine to the easy to read and program PCM of the 96 OBD11 system. What do I need to do to get the job done? Thanks

Your basic starting point is you need to re-map your OBD-1 ALDL to OBD-2
A 96 PCM. Constant table. turn off the Crank position Sensor. OR adapt your current Engine. Also turn off the rear O2's Or adapt your current exhaust. 96 Knock sensor & matching Module.

a 94 - 95 PCM is just as easy to read & flash straight from the OBD-1 ALDL port. Just does not have two way communication.

Thanks for the info. I have a 96 PCM and the wiring harness. Can I put on a 96 timing gear cover with a crank sensor and go from there?

It would be easier to Remove the Crank sensor feature off in the PCM Constants table. AKA tune software.

I will get in touch with a PCM tuner and see what can be done. Thanks
