Default Rear Spring Bolt Size/Dimension

I can't seem to find a definitive answer in my research. I know the stock bolt has more than normal threading, but I'm hoping someone knows the exact thread/bolt length for the rear spring bolts (the ones that attach the spring to the A arm). Anyone have this bit of info?

Yes, its from being cheap. Rather go out and buy the individual bolts than the ~$30 for the 'drop bolts'.

Cheers,

All you need is a bolt, a couple of washers, and a nylock nut. I took my bolt to a hardware store and swapped the metric one out for similar sized grade 9 standard thread bolt-nut assembly. Sorry, don't know what the size was.

Sorry, not A arm, but knuckle. Whatever that really long bolt is. The threads on mine are pretty rusted out and I wanted to replace it. . .

I'll pull it off this weekend when I'm back down at my shop. . .

The longest used "stock" are M14x2.0X225 - '91 & later, '90 and earlier were M14X2.0X192.5 It's generally assumed that 9/16 -18 are good for replacements and are less expensive. Buy however long you would like and either ny-lock nuts or castellated and drill for cotter pins.

225mm is something just short of 9" (8 7/8 thereabouts)

I bought some that were longer but weren't threaded enough, so make sure the new bolts have threads that start before the end of the stock bolts. My ideal spot was at the tip of the old bolts and the new ones the thread started just after.
