Default L98 Vacuum line help...

Ok, off the plenum the one line goes to the Fuel Pressume Regulator. The other goes to that Bulb in the front drivers corner. Then the brake booster has a peice that screws in.

What else is there? I know there is a line that goes to the inside of the car for climate control, and a few AC lines... I am not running an AC or Heater so those are out of the picture... There was also a line that appears to have gone to the battery area. I see nothing over there that would use it... Whats this for?

This is not including the charcol canister system... which brings another set of questions... At the canister there is a hose that goes to a metal line that heads to the back of the car, there is a line that goes to a switch, out the swtich to middle of the engine bay (then to throttle body I am guessing right?) Then off the bottom of the canister there is a line with a T in it, both ends are open and dont goto anything. Any ideas?

Thanks
Matt

Just want to verify the HVAC is that little bulb thing by the canister right?

Now to figure out the canister lines... those two endless ones worry me since I dont see them in that picture :p:

HVAC = Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

There is a vacuum line that comes from behind the distributor to the back of hte plenum. That vacuum source is used to open/close the trap doors that direct the air flow in the cable from the floor, dashboard, and dash pad.

Yeah... I realized that after I went back into the garage... DUH MATT....

Since it doesnt show it... I THINK thats the line that T's off and goes to the bulb up front, correct?

Any other connections?

Can you check your 87 and see where the line(s) coming fromt he bottom of the canister go?

Again, you rock scorp :D

The HVAC line goes nowhere near the front of the car and has no T's on it. It just goes from the firewall to the plenum. I'll check my car out tomorrow.
