Default 2:02 cast iron heads

I replaced the cylinder heads on my 84 corvette with a set of 2:02 cast iron heads. As most know, the 2:02s didnt have threaded holes at the front for bracket installation. Does anyone know of a solid remedy?

Call around to a few area machine shops & have them quote drilling & tapping for the pattern. Go with the cheapest--it's an easy job and they've likely done it a few times before

in 1970, they started putting holes in the front of all the heads, including the 2.02s. its also the year they went to the long water pump. 300 bucks will get you a set of used vortec heads,, but then the proper manifold runs up the bill a bunch.
