My code 36 "fix", many replacement MAFs that don't cost over $150 have eliminated the burn off circuit for whatever reason. This can be addressed by getting the MEMCAL changed, simple matter disabling code 36.
This is not a bad idea anyway, my tuner recommended replacing the original MEMCAL chip with a more modern flash chip. These are more reliable for re-flashing.
If this change is made, make sure to get an original and changed image of the code from the tuner.
