You guys are nuts…how childish. I can’t believe you would stoop to this level…By the way where can I get the schematics and where will you be shooting it off?

Life is too short…have fun while you can and refuse to grow up!

Nathan,

You & me MUST be twins seperated at birth. I have been working on EXACTLY the same idea for the tail pipes :D I think spitting fire out the tail end would be oh so  On command mind you !!!

 I just found out about this project yesterday. My friend was talking about it with some other friends and he mentioned nitrous on his potato gun. I only heard part of it because I wasn't really paying attention until he said that.

I told him that nitrous doesn't actually burn. That's when he told me that he was mixing it with his other fuels and actually getting some VERY good results. He said it's unbelieveable how much more power it makes.

BTW, he's not exactly an idiot. He's just trying to have a little fun I suppose. Since he hasn't killed himself yet I got to thinking and talking to him about ways to make it better, while making it safer at the same time.

I was going to suggest connecting several coils together to get a really huge (measured in feet)
You would need more than several coils. I have a Tesla coil (free air resonant transformer) that throws 18" arcs & it is out of tune. You need quite a bit o juice even with a point to jump several feet.
