1989 Automatic Transmission issues
Hi.
I'm having problems with the automatic transmission in my 1989 vette, the car is slipping in all gears but it's worse in 3rd.
I have checked the fluid and there is plenty fluid, the fluid is still bright red and doesn't smell burnt.
Do you think it could be a blocked filter causing low pressure, or is it time for a new transmission.
Any help or thoughts as to the fault would be greatly appreciated.
