Not sure why so many people have issues installing the OBX system. Mine went on pretty easily. Very little modification. Of course I have long tubes and I'm not hooking to the stock manifolds. Maybe that is the difference? Also the car still drones BUT it is FAR less than the "magna-drone" system I had on the car prior. My buddies all compliment on how good the OBX system sounds.

I'm the next week or so I'm going to add the helmholtz resonators with the hope that will get rid of the last remaining bit of drone. (The internet as a whole seems to have REALLY good luck with this mod)

Simple, either OBX improved the fit over the last two years or the quality is not consistent (as in sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't). That said, a lot of the work that went into mounting it was for getting the exhaust pipes as symmetric as possible and removing all tension in the exhaust pipes when it's clamped/welded together and mounted on the car.

I was expecting some work installing it, but at least I expected that it would be possible to mount the exhaust on the car (front section with headers excluded) and then modifications would be necessary to getting a nice straight and symmetric look but as previously mentioned the angles was too far off. With a degree in mechanical engineering I do hope I can put an exhaust system correctly together but you never know

Don't know about the drone, as I'm still waiting for parts to arrive before driving is possible (I'm in Europe, delivery is not overnight )

Out of curiosity, do you have pictures of your install? I would like to see how the fitment is on yours.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of the install itself or the underside of the car. Only picture is of the tips, like a rear picture of a car. (and that picture isn't even good. haha) Sorry man
