Default Day Time Running Lights

I have a 95 and would like to wake up the fog lights to serve as good bright Day Time Running Lights. Is there a much brighter bulb available or LED that will fit in the present socket and wake them up

These have been installed by many. The web presence has changed somewhat and the direct link does't seem to work so you'll just have to poke around. From main page maybe the fourth link on left. I believe the intention is to use the TURN filament and most seem quite happy with that.

Regarding the fog lights, yes, someone versed in electronics can make them come on with the ignition (with a relay and possibly isolation diodes). A quick web search will turn up a number of brightness options.

You can find a brighter bulb. Cant help with P/N's
But I can say that you'll need to bump up the fuse or it will keep blowing.
Experience.

I just ordered the DRL kit and it sounds like the kit uses the flasher/brighter filament as the running light so the turning lights will be brighter. I was aware that there was brighter fog options but I was wondering about the turn signal options. I recall several members also simply using a 5k light (white/clear) in place of the amber light...and although illegal in some states I wouldn't mind trying it to see how it looks.

Once I get it I might post up something with regards and PNs if I switch to an alternate to the Amber but since the stronger filament is used I may not need an alternate bulb color/brightness.
