I had to remove my throttle position switch to replace a (Callaway only) fuel line that runs under the plenum on my 87. When I reinstalled, I followed the procedure and set it to read .54 volts. Now the car won't run. It starts and runs for about one second, then dies.
It ran fine before I changed out the line. Not perfect, but fine.
Suggestions? This is frustrating!
Thanks

Update: I loosened the tps and rotated it until the car would start and run. And now I'm getting code 34. I was code-free before.
That makes NO sense. code 34 is a MAF error. TPS code should be 21 / 22
Pull the battery 1 min. Re-check
And now it's back to not starting regardless of where I set the tps. If I start it with my foot on gas, it will caugh and sputter but run, soon as foot comes off the gas it dies.

I believe I've seen the 34 mentioned previously for just rough/erratic idle.
OP -
***Here's the thread that also includes TPS adjustment. Try the TPS "in hand" as suggested also I'd think reasonable. Are there any Callaway specs that need accommodated?
The thread #1 is a repost of some very good information that had been removed in some fashion by "updates" or whatever. The TechTip was very old, very old.
