Cayman vs. Vette
This isn't what it looks like. My old friend is a die-hard Porsche man and spent megabucks on his Cayman. This afternoon he got to drive the vette. So calm and collected with plush leather, but can flat blow your wig off. He was impressed and depressed simultaneously and is probably shopping for a ZO6. Very proud of the old girl's capabilities today. The C4 is a great machine.

A friend of mine went from a '96 CE LT4 to a Cayman R.
I drove the Cayman. It is a very good handling car and performs pretty well, but I was not really impressed. The handling and performance for normal spirited driving were pretty close between his Cayman and my Corvettes . They were both fun to drive and I like both.
He paid 7 or 8 times what I paid for my Corvette and I don't see it worth the extra cost. (His was new and mine were used)
