MSD opti question!
Installing my MSD Opti I could not remember if there was an o-ring
On the spline.
I called MSD and the guy I asked had to go ask some one else.
When he returned to the phone he told me, no! You just have the seal!
Since he didn't seem to know it didn't help my confidence.
So, does it or not?

With that, I looked and saw that you have a '93 - that would be the first generation opti. Here's a link to MSD and their instructions link is at the bottom of the page.

The only o-ring referenced in the instructions the large one that goes between the cap and body of the opti. There is no o-ring in the photo of the spine drive or referenced in the instructions to be placed on the spline drive. So it appears to be there is no o-ring on the spline.
