O2 Sensors .....
So where is the CF consensus on brand of replacement o2 sensors ??
I tend to gravitate toward AC Delco parts but on this issue its certainly possible these may not be the best replacement parts.
So lets hear it .... Rumor, hearsay, popular opinion, experiences, and of course... facts.

I suspect many brands will perform equally well.
I don't have a great amount of experience with different ones, but on my C5 I had an AC Delco fail at about 1 year. I replaced it with a Bosch and it has been fine for 3 years and counting.

I agree but it seems like it is more stocked at the local Auto parts places so I usually go with Bosch. I switched to the heated ones.

That's what I was waiting to see if someone might mention the change of the "single wire" to heated. That's certainly I believe the correct move. I don't know that there's a tendency to lean towards any particular brand but Denso and Bosch seem to be local choices. - most in this area seem to use or prefer the Denso. One guy makes the decision and the rest "follow". If he suggests a different brand next week then they'll likely follow!
For your install did you buy the connector and adapting harness or create your own from scratch?

Neither. Got the sensor for a later model that had heated and the matching pigtails and put it in

Well I'd think a "pig-tail" amounts to a connector and then you "cut/splice".

True. To be exact, I will solder instead of butt connect
