Default need advice on changing cold start inj.

i have a 1985 stock vet .i have been told the cold start inj is bad.is there a shortcut to changing it .or is it a major job to change it .thanks for any advice.

I don't think you can get a cold start inj. anymore :nonod: . You have to find a used one or get a cold start inj. elimination kit. I see the kit on e-bay all the time and they are not very expensive

It depends on what "bad" means.

If the coil is bad it needs to be replaced; you might try Contemporary Corvette who vend new parts and have an extensive Vette bone yard.

If the injector is just dirty (sticking or leaking) send it to Rich at Cruzin Performance to be reconditioned, leak checked and flow tested. He charges $10/injector serviced.
